Ok, shoot me.  I forgot about Theme Thursday after only one week.  I’m old and forgetful.  At least that’s what I’m blaming it on.

So the topic this week is Turkey.  You know, that nasty ass bird that bubba likes to shoot in the woods behind the trailer park?

The first thing that came to mind when I decided to write about turkeys was Sarah Palin’s Turkey Pardon fiasco last year.

This was classic, clueless Sarah.  I’m sure she blamed it on the liberal media!

The next thing I thought of was how much I hate to eat turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Don’t get me wrong, I like those nice little packaged turkey containers you buy in the grocery store for lunch meat.  I just don’t like the carved stuff.  I have no idea why so quit your bitchin’ already!

The word turkey can mean so many different things.  We’ve already covered Palin.  She was 2008′s Turkey of the Year.  Bush and Cheney come in a close second.

I think 2009 will end up with a handful of Republicans at the helm again: Rush Limbaugh, Sally Kern, Michele Bachmann, Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck (although, Beck is more retarded than a turkey.)

I’ll just leave you with a few keywords to think about this holiday season.  Turkey sandwich, gobble, feather, glory hole, drumstick.
