Since yesterday was tax day, I decided to take a look at some of the ridiculous tax issues in this country.
Yesterday we saw thousands of truly ignorant people march in various Tea Parties around this country. They were protesting high taxes and government spending.
Hmmm, that’s interesting. False, but interesting. Here’s why: 68% of the businesses in the country pay NO federal income tax. A HUGE number of individuals with either owe nothing or actually get money back from the government teet. Are you kidding me? Taxed too much? What the hell are you Tea Baggers thinking?
Ok, let’s tackle government spending. The irony of this astounds me. You don’t want the Feds involved in your pocket book but you want to protest in that public park that you arrived at by public transportation and is guarded by a public employee. So basically, go away…but don’t fuck with MY shit!
I’m sick of all the whiners in this tax issue. Pay your goddamned share. And if you REALLY want to look at the deeper issue, we’re IN THIS MESS because that dumbass George W. Bush put us here!
